In May 2012 I became the owner of a Knitting Mate Hand-Knitting Machine.
Like the box says it is "Simply Great".

The first project
The Knitting Mate clamped to my sewing table
The photo shows my first project about 3/4 complete. I used 8 ply acrylic yarn and just kept going until the ball was used up. It made a beautiful whatnot. (The wrong side of the knitting is facing up.)
I just purchased one called Knitting Pal, and I have been searching the internet for instructions. They are so hard to find. I found a few videos in foreign languages, but am not catching on. I hope, if someone reads this, and has instructions they do not need, they can help me out.
My children have just been given a knitting mate but I simply can't work out how to use it. I have been able to cast on but I am totally confused on how to do my first row. Can you help or refer me in the right direction?
